Deluge Systems Description: Deluge systems are fire protection systems that use unpressurized dry piping and open sprinkler heads to mist water over an affected area. The system is directly connected to a water supply and when the activated - usually by a heat or smoke detection system - opens a deluge valve that in turn releases all water to all the open sprinkler heads.
